🛰️ From the Tachi to the Rocinante
Before it became the Rocinante, the ship was the MCRN Tachi, a Martian corvette carried aboard the Donnager. Holden’s crew escapes aboard the Tachi as the Donnager is destroyed, later renaming the ship and facing some understandable questions about who actually owns it.
“Legitimate salvage” becomes the wonderfully concise answer—two words that neatly sum up the Rocinante’s complicated change of ownership.
