Description

Golden Axe is a classic side-scrolling beat ’em up game developed by Sega and released in arcades in 1989. It later received ports for various home gaming platforms, including the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Sega Master System, and other systems.

Set in a medieval fantasy world called Yuria, Golden Axe invites players to embark on a quest to defeat the evil Death Adder, who has kidnapped the king and princess and brought chaos to the land. Players can choose from three different characters, each with their own unique abilities and play styles.
