The International Fleet (IF) is a global military organization that is responsible for training and commanding child soldiers to fight against an alien race known as the Formics. The IF is led by a group of high-ranking officers known as the Hegemony; it also operates Battle School, a space station where children are trained to become commanders in the war against the Formics.
