TriOptimum Corporation Hoodie
As seen in: System Shock
TriOptimum Corporation, from System Shock 1 and System Shock 2. This megacorporation created the artificial intelligence SHODAN, Citadel Station, and the Von Braun, among many other developments in the military, science, and consumer sectors.
TriOptimum’s status as a megacorporation is due to the fact that, thanks to the efforts of Hays-Bishop Bill, it absorbed what remained of the United States in 2059 after years of influencing the country as a major supplier to the military. Thanks to this deal, TriOptimum purchased the rights to orbit Saturn, building the Citadel Station.
It’s also responsible for the construction of SHODAN (Sentient Hyper-Optimized Data Access Network) — a supercomputer that could carry out many tasks on multiple space stations including Citadel.
While the exact founding date of TriOptimum Corporation is unknown, the corporation was seen as at the height of its powers in April 2072. The significance of this date cannot be overstated, as the arrest of an unknown hacker led to the revelation that TriOptimum executive Edward Diego was funding secret illegal experiments — and also made a deal with the hacker to disable SHODAN’s ethical restraints. Thanks to the Hackers’ efforts everyone aboard the Citadel was either killed, mutated, or converted into cyborgs by SHODAN. With the help of Rebecca Lansing, a TriOptimum counter terror consultant, SHODAN was prevented from destroying the Earth.
Due to this disaster, TriOptimum’s stock plummeted, even though the corporation was seen as a bystander to the efforts of one rogue employee. Despite this, employees resigned, and no new business was possible. Yet thanks to its multiple patents, TriOptimum did eventually revive itself and its public image.
Crafted for comfort, this lighter weight sweatshirt is perfect for relaxing. Once put on, it will be impossible to take off.
